About the project
We started Post Quarantine in April 2020 in response to the global coronavirus pandemic. It’s a chance to show off your creativity and feature in an exhibition in the near future (fingers crossed).
We invite you to get creative and write to your future self. You know, the ‘you’ when this whole COVID-19 thing is done with. Post quarantine.
It can be a long reflective letter about how you’re feeling now or a simple pledge on the back of a postcard listing all the things you want to do when you’re free from social distancing. Basically, it’s whatever today’s ‘you’ believes the future you will need to read. And more importantly, whatever today’s ‘you’ needs to write.
Take the time to pick out or make, illustrate, or design your perfect writing paper or postcard. Then grab a pen and go for it.
When you’re done, send it to: Post Quarantine, Unit 34786, PO Box 6945, London W1A 6US. We’ll keep your letters safe for a while.
The plan is to reunite you with your letters at a big Post Quarantine exhibition party when we’re all allowed to mingle again. So yeah, make sure you’re okay for other people to read your mail.
Let's recap:
1. Choose or make your perfect writing paper or a postcard.
2. Write to your future self (future = beyond coronavirus).
3. Be sure to include your name and contact details. Your Instagram is a must.
4. Send it to: Post Quarantine, Unit 34786, PO Box 6945, London W1A 6US.
5. Look out for your submission on our Insta. (Follow @_postquarantine now!)
6. Wait for the Post Quarantine party!
We can’t wait to see your beautiful/funny/poignant submissions.
